The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the T20 home series against Australia. The three-match T20 International series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore later this month.
The series matches will be played on February 29, 31 and 1, the Australian teams will arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, January 28.
This series is considered very important for both teams ahead of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. In the World Cup, Pakistan is in Group A while Australia is in Group B.
It may be recalled that this March will be Australia’s third visit to Pakistan after April 2022, when they played a Test, ODI and T20 match in Pakistan. Apart from this, Australia also played three matches in Pakistan during ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
On April 5, 2022, Australia defeated Pakistan by three wickets in the only T20 match played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
