The former captain of the National Cricket Team, Shahid Afridi, welcomed the responsibility of the former Lieutenant General (R) of the DGISI Faiz Hamid and asked that those who harm the country should be prosecuted.

Martyr Afridi said that the army is mine and Alhamdulillah I am proud of Pakistan Army.
On the addition of two franchises in the new season of Pakistan Super League, the former captain said that adding two teams in PSL is good, but adding teams will give more opportunities to the players.
He said that PSL is our own brand, the road show is a proof of PSL’s popularity.
Understanding the future situation, Shahid Afridi said that there is no need for more tests in the Pakistan Cricket team, now we have to finalize our team for the World Cup, I personally am not in favor of changing the players in the series before the World Cup.
Answering a question about the participation of Pakistani cricketers in the Big Bash League, the former captain said that it is good to give the players experience.
