Report: Atiqur Rehman. Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has banned 6 officials of Pakistan Netball Federation for not submitting financial accounts. The Netball Federation decided to go to court.
The Pakistan Sports Council has banned six former officials of the Pakistan Netball Federation for failing to submit records of financial irregularities and using government grants.
The ban was imposed on non-declaration of government grants totaling Rs 65 crore in the financial years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
According to the PSB announcement, the Pakistan Netball Federation must submit financial records within seven days, if the required financial records are submitted, the ban can be renewed and there is a right to appeal within 30 days.
On the other hand, the Netball Federation decided to appeal to the court against the decision of the PSB and the secretary Mihemed Riaz also revealed that he has submitted all observations, the PSB wants to take over the Netball Federation.
