Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif announced a prize of 15 thousand rupees for each player of the team for the impressive performance of the players of the national hockey team who participated in the World Cup competitions.
Pakistan team received a grand welcome when they returned from Egypt, Federal Parliament Secretary Kiran Dar, IPC Ministry and Pakistan Hockey Federation officials welcomed the team, flowers were presented to the players and flowers were given at Islamabad Airport.
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan hockey team has qualified for the World Cup after 8 years and the Hockey World Cup is starting from August 14 in Belgium and the Netherlands, but before the World Cup, the Pakistan hockey team will play matches in the pro-league with the countries of Belgium, Spain, India and England.
On the other hand, the President of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Muhyiddin Wani met with the Pakistan Hockey Team and Managers and evaluated their performance and said that they should prepare better for the Pro Hockey League and the World Cup.
