The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team’s short training camp for the tour of South Africa will begin from Monday, the camp will be announced on Sunday evening.

After five years between the two countries, Fatima Sana will lead the ODI and T20 teams in the series starting February 10, preparing the series for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The camp of the selected team will be held until February 6 at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center of the National Stadium, under the supervision of the advisor and coach Wahab Riaz, the coaching staff of Imran Farhat, Abdul Rehman, Abdul Majeed and others will give the final training to the players.

The day and night matches of the T20 series against South Africa will be played in Potchefstroom, Benoni and Kimberley. Before the ODI series, there will be a 50-over warm-up match in Kimberley. The ODI matches will be played in Bloemfontein, Centurion and Durban. The second ODI match will be a night and day affair.

It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan Women’s Team will visit South Africa for the first time after 2021 for a bilateral series. The Pakistan Women’s team also participated in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa in February 2023.
