Karachi:
The new PSL division Hyderabad has appointed Jason Gillespie as the head coach.
According to reports, talks regarding the coaching role between former Pakistan Cricket team coach, former Australia Cricket team pacer Jason Gillespie and new Pakistan Super League franchise, Hyderabad, have been successfully concluded and an agreement has been reached between the parties.
Gillespie was previously part of the Pakistan coaching set-up, having been appointed as the head of the Test team in April 2024, alongside Gary Kirsten, who led the white-ball team.
However, ahead of Pakistan’s two-match Test series in South Africa in December 2024, Gillespie resigned after a strained relationship with the PCB. The 11th season of Pakistan Super League is expected to start in March.
