Report: Soheyl Imran. England and Wales Cricket Board Chief Executive Rob Key has confirmed that an investigation is underway into the issue of excessive alcohol consumption by the cricket team’s players.

Ahead of the Adelaide Test of Ashes series, the England players holidayed in Queensland, where they stayed in the resort town of Noosa. Meanwhile, reports emerged that the England players had consumed too much alcohol during their stay in Noosa.

Regarding this issue, the manager of the English team, Rob Key, spoke to the media and confirmed for the investigation and said that if people say that the players drank too much alcohol, they will definitely find it.

“I have read about the behavior of the players and the consumption of alcohol and if that is the case, it is not acceptable,” he said.

Rob Key said that the international cricket team is not expected to drink too much alcohol, the England players are very well behaved and I have heard of such behavior during the holidays.

“I’m not against a little trip, if it’s enough to put the phones away and go to the beach,” he said.
