After defeating Pakistan in the ICCT Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2026, the Indian cricket team has set the record for most consecutive wins in the ICC white-ball tournaments.

India set a new record by winning 16 consecutive matches in ICC limited-overs events.

The streak began in 2023 after losing to Australia in Ahmedabad, and has now become the longest winning streak in the event.

It is worth mentioning that in the 27th match of the 2026 T20 World Cup mega cricket tournament, India defeated the Pakistan team by 61 runs and advanced to the Super Eight stage.

Note that the record for consecutive wins in ICC events is held by Australia, with the Kangaroos winning 15 matches in ICC events during 2006-2007.
