Report: Arfa Firoz Zeki. Government of Pakistan has decided to introduce ‘Soldier of the Year’ award to promote sports at the national level and encourage sportspersons.
According to the information, every year the best male and female athletes will be awarded by the government and along with the award, 25 million dollars will be given.
According to the sources, at the end of every year a special awarding ceremony is held and the national athlete will be awarded with the performance award.
According to the sources, the Ministry of International Coordination has also received the approval of this project from the board of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
