The former PCB selector is suffering from cancer

Report: Soheyl Imran. Former Pakistan cricketer Muhammad Ilyas has been diagnosed with liver cancer and will undergo surgery at a local hospital in Lahore.

Muhammad Ilyas called for prayers for a successful operation. He has represented Pakistan in 10 Test matches.

The 79-year-old Muhammad Ilyas also played 82 first-class matches and became the chief selector in the Pakistan Cricket League.

Muhammad Ilyas was also a member of the National Selection Committee, the Children’s Selection Committee and the Chairman of the Women’s Cricket Selection Committee.
