Report: Feyzan Lakhani. The first player auction in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will take place tomorrow, with franchises bidding for players to finalize their squads ahead of the 11th edition of the league.
Teams will be able to form a team of a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 21 players through the auction.
In a team of 16 people there should be 5 foreigners and in a team of 21 people there should be 7 foreign players. Teams must have at least two players under the age of 23.
The player auctions in Lahore will start at 11:30 am. 880 players are registered PSL 11 players in the auction.
Teams will receive a budget of Rs 50.50 lakh to complete their teams where the cost of retention and direct signing will be included in the budget.
