The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated contacts for the coaching staff of Multan Sultans and in the next edition of PSL 11, PCB will look after the services of Multan Sultans itself.

Sources say the PCB has started looking at former cricketers Abdul Razaq, Mushtaq Ahmed and Tawfiq Umar to lead the team, who may be offered the posts of head coach, assistant coach and batting coach, while two or three other players have also been approached to inquire about their availability.
The reign of Multan Sultans will end after the approval of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
According to reports, former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja’s name has also come up for administrative matters, while spinner Mushtaq Ahmed has worked as a spin consultant with Multan Sultans.
It is worth mentioning that the eleventh edition of PSL will start in the last week of March, where ten parties will compete for the purchase of two new teams. The auction ceremony will be held on January 8 at the Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad.
