Report: Soheyl Imran. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has written a detailed letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) about not playing the T20 World Cup matches in India.
Sources say that the BCB has responded to all the questions raised by the ICC in a letter with evidence.
According to sources, apart from the cricket team, BCB has also discussed the security and visa issues of media persons, fans and other stakeholders.
The sources revealed that, along with the letter, the BCB has presented the government’s position and statements in documents and the BCB has reiterated the government’s policies and concerns regarding the security of the teams.
It is worth mentioning that the Bangladesh Cricket team refused to travel to India for the ICCT World Twenty20 due to the breakdown of India-Bangladesh diplomatic relations and the expulsion of Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL, citing insecurity in India.
