Sri Lanka beat Oman by a huge margin of 105 runs in the ICCT World Twenty20 Group B match.
In the match played at Palikele, Oman won the toss and decided to bowl first, in reply the C Lincoln team scored 225 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
On behalf of Sri Lanka, batsman Kaushal Mendis was the top scorer with 61 runs in 45 balls with the help of 7 fours, while Pawan Rathanke scored 60 runs and captain Dushan Shanka scored 50 runs.
Team Uman managed to score 120 runs for 9 wickets chasing the target of 226 runs. Muhammad Nadeem became the leading batsman of Oman with 53 runs.
The next match of this competition will be played between Nepal and Italy today and the teams of India and Namibia will meet in the evening.
