T20 World Cup, Scotland to replace Bangladesh: Indian media claims

Sohail Imran………Indian media claimed that ICCT has replaced Bangladesh with Scotland for Twenty20 World Cup.

According to Indian media, the ICC will make an announcement soon.

Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had written another letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the T20 World Cup.

According to sources, BCB wrote this letter on the issue of participation in ICCT 20 2026 World Cup and India not going.

In the letter, the BCB requested that the issue of Bangladesh team’s participation in the T20 World Cup and India’s non-participation be referred to the ICC’s Independent Dispute Resolution Committee.

BCB demanded the transfer of Bangladesh cricket team’s matches and reiterated its position once again.

BCB has contacted the ICC again in light of yesterday’s decision and has maintained its decision not to send its team from India.

Before now, the Sports Advisor of Bangladesh Dr.

BCB president Aminul Islam also reacted to the decision of another team to participate in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 instead of Bangladesh and said that our position is to be allowed to play in Sri Lanka, we all want to play the World Cup, but we are not sure to go to India.
