T20 World Cup: Pakistan’s participation decision expected today, Plan B ready

An important decision regarding Pakistan’s participation in the T20 World Cup is expected to be made today, which will be announced after the Prime Minister’s approval.

According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in consultation for the final decision.

Sources reveal that Pakistan’s World Cup unveiling ceremony was abruptly canceled yesterday, fueling speculation about the team’s participation.

In the World Cup, Pakistan was placed in Group A with India, Netherlands, USA and Namibia. According to the schedule, Pakistan’s first match will be played on February 7 against Netherlands, and the big Pakistan-India match will be played on February 15 in Colombia.

According to information, it is expected that PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will meet with Prime Minister Shehba Sharif today and after that an important announcement will be made regarding participation in the World Cup.

It was also announced that if Pakistan’s participation is decided, the team kit will be announced soon. However, the PCB has also prepared a plan B for not participating in the World Cup.

According to information, as part of plan B, the alternative tournament of Pakistan, Pakistan Shahin and U-18 teams will be held in Lahore.
