The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has not allowed the families of Indian players to stay with them during the ICCT Twenty20 World Cup.
According to Indian media, the Indian team management contacted the Indian Cricket Board on the issue of keeping families together at the request of the players, but the board, sticking to its policy, gave a clear answer that the team members cannot keep their families together during the event.
BCCI replied to the team management that their families cannot stay with the players, but the players can make their own arrangements for their families if they wish.
It is worth remembering that after the tour of Australia in 2025, the Board of India issued a guideline for families. India have a match against Pakistan on February 15 in Colombo.
