Sri Lankan cricket team fast bowler Nawan Tushara went to court against his board.
According to Sri Lankan media, Nawan Tushara has filed a lawsuit against Sri Lanka Cricket High School to play in IPL.
The cricketer’s plea seeking an NOC to play in the IPL will be heard in the Colombo District Court on April 9.
Fast bowler Nawan Tushara has filed a complaint against the Chairman, Treasurer and CEO of the Sri Lanka Board.
It should be noted that Nawan Tushara has signed a contract with Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, but Sri Lanka Cricket refused to give NOC to Nawan Tushara as he did not pass the fitness test.
Nawan Tushara says that my contract with Sri Lanka Cricket has expired on March 31 and he stated that I have told the board that I am retiring from International Cricket.
Fast bowler Nawan Tushara also stated that it is unfair to not give NOC despite informing the board about the fitness criteria.
