The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men’s and Women’s Players of the Month for November.
South African spinner Simon Harmer has been named the Men’s Player of the Month by the ICC for his impressive performance in the ICC World Test Championship series against India.
South African spinner Simon Harmer was instrumental in the two Test matches against India, taking 17 wickets and winning the Man of the Match award.
Right-arm spinner Simon Harmer won the award for the first time, beating Bangladesh’s Tejul Islam and Pakistan’s all-rounder Muhammad Nawaz.
Simon Harmer while receiving the award says that it is an honor to be the ICC Player of the Month, representing the country is a dream for him and he attributes this success to his team, coaching staff and his family.
