Quinton de Kock made South Africa’s batsman-wicketkeeper in the T20 World Cup 2026.
33-year-old Quinton de Kock has been playing T20 World Cup matches since 2014, so far he has represented his country in 30 matches and has taken 33 wickets.
This feat is a testament to Kock’s skill and consistency in the shortest period of cricket, proving that he is one of the best wicketkeepers in the world.
He has taken 26 catches behind the wicket and stumped 7 batsmen.
The honor earlier today belonged to former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who took 32 catches behind the wicket, including 21 catches and 11 stumpings.
The honor was previously held by Pakistani batsman Kamran Akmal, who has bowled as many wickets in 30 matches, taking 12 catches and taking 18 hits.
