South Africa Women’s Cricket Team defeated Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team by 16 runs in the second ODI match to take a decisive 0-2 lead in the three-match series.
In the match played at Centurion, South Africa Women batted first and scored 361 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.
On behalf of South Africa, Annie Darkson scored 90 and Tazmin Burtz scored 77 runs. For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal, Fatima Sana and Aroob Shah took two wickets each.
Pakistan team fought hard to achieve the target of 362 runs, but the entire team managed to score 345 runs and thus lost by 16 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Ayisha Zafar and Sadaf Shams scored 75 runs, but they could not lead the team to victory.
South Africa Women are 0-2 unbeaten in the three-match ODI series and the final match of the series will be played on March 1 in Durban.
