Pakistan test team captain Shan Masood has created a new national record.
36-year-old Shaan Masood created a new national record by scoring a thunderous double century on the first day of the Presidents Trophy.
On the first day of the President’s Trophy in Karachi, Shan Masood scored the second fastest century in Pakistan’s history with a magnificent knock.
In the SNGPL game, Shan Masood completed a 177-ball double century against Sahir Associates.
The previous record for Pakistan’s fastest double century was held by Inzamam-ul-Haq, who scored a 188-ball century in a tour match against Oxford and Cambridge University in 1992.
Shaan Masood’s double century, also the fastest double century on Pakistan soil, ended the first day with 212 not out from 185 balls.
The record was held by India’s Virender Sehwag, who scored a double century off 182 runs in the 2006 Lahore Test.
