Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi injured his knee during the Big Bash League (BBL) matches and later it was decided to bring him back to Pakistan.
Shaheen Afridi, while representing Brisbane Heat in the BBL, suffered a knee injury in the match against the Adelaide Strikers on Saturday 27th December, after which it was decided to withdraw him.
Şahin Shah Afrin may return to his country on Wednesday. A rehabilitation program will be set up for him at the National Cricket Academy, while Brisbane Heat said in a follow-up message that Shaheen Afridi would be re-examined after the team’s return from Adelaide.
Shaheen Afridi said in his message on social media that due to an unexpected injury, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called him back to his country and he will now complete his rehabilitation in Pakistan. He expressed his hope that he will return to the playing field soon.
