Pakistan registered their first win in International Futsal by defeating Bhutan in the men’s competition of the SAFF Futsal Championship in Thailand. Adnan Ashfaq scored 2 goals from Pakistan.
Pakistan came back from a 2.0 deficit to win against Bhutan at the Bangkok Andover Stadium.
Bhutan’s Dawa Tshering scored two goals in the opening moments, but then Pakistan fought back.
In the 28th minute, Hasen Zafer reduced his deficit and then in the 32nd minute, Asif Ahmed Chaudhry equalized the match. In the 34th and 35th minutes, Adnan Eshfaq scored a goal and Pakistan led by 4.2. This is Pakistan’s first win in futsal.
Yesterday, the Pakistan Women’s Team won by defeating Sri Lanka.
In the table competition, the Pakistan team will play the next match against Sri Lanka on January 18.
