Report: Soheyl Imran. The participation of Pakistan Women’s Football Team in the Southern Football Federation Women’s Championship Night 2026 is yet to be confirmed, while Indian media say that Pakistan has not confirmed their participation in the Saf Women’s Football Championship in India.
According to Indian media reports, the last day to confirm participation in the championship was March 30, which passed, after which six teams are now expected to participate in the championship and the South Asian Football Confederation had requested seven teams to participate in the championship.
The report also said that the Pakistan team may not go to India due to India-Pakistan relations, but no official announcement has been made in this regard.
On the other hand, according to the information of the Pakistan Football Federation, the participation of the Pakistan Women’s team is with the permission of the government.
These sources reveal that the PFF has informed the government that whatever the government says will be done.
It is worth mentioning that the Saf Women’s Football Championship will be held from May 25 to June 7 in Goa, India.
