Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director Nazum Salam has started a disciplinary investigation for his expressions of displeasure.

According to the BCB, a warning was issued and a response was requested within 48 hours, reiterating the condemnation of the board member’s recent objectionable statements.

BCB says that all processes will be completed to reach the matter, the matter will be dealt with according to the rules and an appropriate decision will be taken based on the outcome of the case.

BCB in its statement said that the board expects the cricketers to show professionalism and the players will cooperate for the successful completion of the BPL.

BCB said that the Bangladesh Premier League has entered the final stage and this league holds a special place for Bangladeshi cricket fans and domestic and foreign fans.

It is worth mentioning that the cricketers of Bangladesh had demanded the resignation of the Director of the Board of Directors, Nazul Islam, and if the cricketers did not resign, they had demanded to boycott the cricket activities.

Nazm-e-Salam had used harsh words, including non-return of financial compensation to players during the Bangladesh World Cup boycott.
