Legendary Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan became the first player to take 700 wickets in T20 cricket.
Rashid Khan took the wicket of this milestone in the T20 World Cup match against UAE.
In T20 cricket, West Indies’ Devin Bravo is second with 631 wickets, surpassing Rashid Khan in February 2025.
Shivnarine of West Indies is also in third place with 613 wickets.
Apart from this, Rashid Khan is also the top wicket-taker in T20Is with 191 wickets, New Zealand’s Tim Southee is second and Kiwi spinner Ash Sodhi is third with 164 and 162 wickets respectively.
