PSL11; Lahore Qalandars fight hard against Hyderabad in the opening match

Lahore:

In the first match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, defending champions Lahore Qalandars take on Hyderabad Kingsmen who are playing their first match.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, the captain of Lahore Qalandars, won the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and decided to start against Hyderabad Kings.

Fakhar Zaman and Mohammed Naeem got off to a blistering start for defending champions Lahore Qalandars, scoring 64 runs in 6 overs.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and other dignitaries attended a short ceremony before the opening match of PSL 11, former captain Wasim Akram unveiled the trophy of the event.

Both teams for the match consist of these players;

Lahore Qalandars: Shaheen Shah Afridi (Captain), Muhammad Naeem, Fakher Zeman, Abdullah Shafiq, Parwiz Hussain Iman, Hasbullah Khan (Wicket Keeper), Sikander Raza, Asif Ali, Haris Rauf, Mustafizur Rahman, Obed Shah.

Hyderabad Kingsmen: Marnus Lebouchane (captain), Saeem Ayub, Usman Khan (keeper), Kosal Perera, Irfan Niyazi, Rizwan Mehmood, Hasan Khan, Hamad Azam, Riley Meredith, Mohammad Ali, Akif Caved.
