PSL 11: Multan Sultans beat Rawalpindi by 7 wickets

In the 14th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Multan Sultans beat Rawalpindi by 7 wickets. This is the fourth consecutive defeat for the inaugural Rawalpindi team in the event.

Multan Sultans team is in first place with 8 points with 4 wins.

In the match played in Lahore, Rawalpindi batted first and scored 182 runs for 8 wickets in the over. Sam Billings scored 56 runs, Kamran Ghulam scored 35 runs and Diane Forrester scored 24 runs.

Faysel Ekrem dismissed 4 players and Arafat Minhas also dismissed 2 players, in response Multan Sultanan reached their target by losing 3 wickets in the 17th over.

Opener Sahibzada Farhan played 68 runs off 38 balls with the help of 4 fours and 5 sixes.

Josh Phillip scored 56 runs off 30 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes, Shaun Masood 27 and Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 26 runs.

Faisal Akram of Multan Sultans was awarded for his excellent bowling performance.

PSL 11 concluded the first phase in Lahore, the second phase will start from April 8 in Karachi, the matches of the event are broadcasted live on JioSuper and Myco digital app.
