Report: Soheyl Imran. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has charged Lahore Qalandars’ Fakhar Zaman with a level three offence.
Fakhar Zaman violated article 41.3 of the PSL Playing Rules and this violation is related to spoiling the condition of the ball.
According to PCB, match referee Roshan Mahnama conducted a disciplinary hearing in which Fakhar Zaman denied the charge against him.
The PCB stated that another hearing of Fakhar Zaman’s case will be held within the next 48 hours and after the hearing of the case the referee of the match will make a decision.
It should be noted that this incident took place in the second leg of the match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.
In the match against Karachi Kings, 5 penalty kicks were given against Lahore Qalandars for pushing the ball and the field referees also changed the ball.
