Chief of Defense Forces, Army Chief, Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by Pakistan U-19 Cricket Team at GHQ.
According to the Ministry of Public Relations of Armed Forces ISPR, the Field Marshal congratulated the players, team management and officials for winning the U-19 Asia Cup.
He praised the team’s discipline, teamwork and brave play and described this achievement as a source of pride for the entire nation.
The field marshal urged the players to continuously strive for high performance and said that the players should maintain professional standards and be ambassadors of the country on and off the field.
He said that the youth of Pakistan are the foundation of the future of the nation, the energy, ability and character of the youth will shape the development of the country and its prestige on the world stage.
According to ISPR, the U-19 national cricket team thanked the field marshal for his encouragement and support and said that the honor has given him a lot of motivation to work harder and perform better.
