Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Tariq Bugti has resigned from his post.
When Tariq Bugti held a press conference in Lahore, he said that his resignation was sent to the Prime Minister and captain Imad Butt was also banned for 2 years. He will play anywhere domestically and internationally during this period.
Regarding the mismanagement of the Pakistan hockey team in Australia, Tariq Bugti said that I request the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal to form a committee to investigate and punish those responsible for the league’s biased mismanagement.
He said Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) did not pay on time for hotel booking in Australia, he personally went to PSB to send our money but they said it will take two months.
In the continuation of his speech, Tariq Bugti said that because of PSB there were problems during the tour of Australia and the Hockey Federation was not able to manage them at that time.
Tariq Bugti said that Rana Mujahid has submitted his entire program to the Sports Committee and the team will do well in the next stage of the competition.
He said that our world ranking was 18th, now it is 13th which is our achievement, I thank the Field Marshal who gave us a lot of support.
Tariq Bugti said, first of all, I am grateful to the prime minister, he gave me the opportunity for two years, the prime minister saved and released 25 kira for hockey.
On the other hand, Rana Sanaullah, advisor to the Prime Minister, says: The Sports Authority of Pakistan has completed the investigation and a committee of 3 people has prepared the investigation report and sent it to the Prime Minister’s office.
