The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fined fast bowler Naseem Shah Rs 2 crore for violating the central contract and social media guidelines.
According to the PCB, the player was shown a warning on March 27, after the matter was heard by a three-member disciplinary committee. The announcement of the unconditional pardon of Naseem Shah was taken.
After researching and reviewing the documents, the committee announced that Nasim Shah was guilty of violating several provisions of the central agreement and social media guidelines, for which he was fined 2 billion dollars.
On the other hand, Naseem Shah’s social media consultant was also fired, at the same time PCB also decided to blacklist the said consultant and now this consultant will not be able to work with any player under PCB contract.
The PCB reiterated its commitment that the board will always maintain professional standards, discipline and adherence to contracts.
