The selectors have drawn up a probable fifteen-man list for the three-match series against Australia in Lahore and the ICCT Twenty20 World Cup.
The national team announcement for the three-match series against Australia in Lahore and the T20 World Cup will be announced soon following the confirmation of the PCB Chairman, Salman Ali Agha will lead the national team.
Before the World Cup, the Pakistani team has to play a three-match T20 series against Australia, which will probably be hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. After this, both teams will go to the World Cup campaign.
According to sources, the PCB selection committee, in consultation with captain Mike Hussain and captain Salman Ali Agha, deliberated on the 15-man squad.
According to the proposed list, there are Saim Ayyub, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhr Zaman, Babar Azam, Salman Akha, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan, Abrar Ahmed, Muhammad Nawaz, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Shah Afrini, Haris Rauf, Nasim Shah, Fahim Ashraf.
One of Khawaja Nafi and Usman Tariq will join the team. Usman Tariq could be part of the squad as a surprise package, while Wasim Jr., Abdul Samed and Khawaja Nafee will be among the returning players.
The team will always be announced after the approval of the PCB chairman.
