The Pakistan Women’s Football Team will travel to Ivory Coast on Monday to play the first FIFA series in the country’s history.

According to reports, the decision to participate in the FIFA series for the first time for the Pakistan Women’s team was made in an important meeting between the President of the Pakistan Football Federation, Syed Mohsin Gilani, and the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, on the occasion of the Club World Cup last year, in which the development of football in Pakistan, especially women’s football, was discussed in detail.

The FIFA series will run from April 9 to 16, with Pakistan playing its first match on April 9 against Turks and Caicos Islands, the second match on April 12 against Mauritania, and the final group match against hosts Ivory Coast on April 16.

PFF President Syed Mohsin Gilani expressed his confidence about the future of the team and said that under his leadership, positive steps will be taken for the long-term development of football in Pakistan.

In the Pakistan team, goalkeeper Zayana Jeevraj, Nisha Ashraf, Arzoo Hazara, defenders Isra Khan, Anaya Ahmed, Anmol Heer, Keela Siddiqui, Karisa Jeevraj, Alia Sadiq, Maria Khan, Nizalia Siddiqui, midfielders Saha Faridarah, Lemanaadi Mehrania, Malik, Maryam Mehmud, Aqsa Mushtaq, Ayman Altaf, Nadiya are advancing.
