The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the names of the initial T20 World Cup squad to the ICC.
According to media sources, the PCB has sent the names of the reserve players along with the initial squad of 15 members.
The PCB can change the names without the permission of the ICC before January 31, after which permission will be sought from the ICC Technical Committee for any change in the team.
Sources say that the PCB plans to announce the squad for the World Cup and the T20 series against Australia after the series against Sri Lanka.
According to sources, PCB wants to see the performance of one or two players in the series against Sri Lanka.
The sources reveal that the names of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are among the initial names along with the Sri Lanka tour players.

It is worth mentioning that the ICCT World Twenty20 between India and Sri Lanka is scheduled to start from February 7 and the Pakistan team will play all their matches in Sri Lanka.
