The Pakistan team left Lahore for Sri Lanka to participate in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The national team consists of 15 players and is led by Salman Ali Akha, Ebrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Fahim Ashraf, Fakhr Zeman, Khawaja Muhammad Nafi.
Apart from them, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Salman Mirza, Nasim Shah, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayyub, Shadab Khan, Shahin Shah Afridi, Usman Khan and Usman Tariq are also included in the group.
The Pakistan team will arrive in Sri Lanka today and tomorrow for a complete rest and will play a warm-up match against Ireland on February 4.
The Pakistan team is placed in Group A of the tournament, which includes India, Namibia, Netherlands and USA.
It is worth remembering that the Pakistan government banned the match against India on February 15 due to solidarity with Bangladesh.
