The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are missing from the Sri Lanka tour while all-rounder Shadab Khan is back in the squad.
Khawaja Nafee made his debut in the national team for the white ball series against Sri Lanka.
The series matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on January 7, 9 and 11 in Dambulla.
Salman Ali Akha, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Fahim Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Khawaja Muhammad Nafi, Muhammad Nawaz and Muhammad Salman Mirza are in the T20 group.
Apart from them, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Nasim Shah, Sahibzada Farhan, Sayem Ayyub, Shadab Khan, Usman Khan and Usman Tariq are also included in the group.
PCB also announced the team management, Naveed Akram Cheema will be the team manager for the series against Sri Lanka.
Mike Hasson will be the white ball coach, Ashley Noffke will be the bowling coach, Muhammad Hanif Malik will be the batting coach and Shane McDermott will be the fielding coach.
Cliff Deacon will be the physiotherapist, Grant Lowden will be the strength and conditioning coach, Talha Ejaz will be the team analyst and Syed Neem Ahmed will be the team’s media manager.
