Pakistan is also ready to host matches of Bangladesh team in ICCT World Twenty Cup.
According to sources, due to the lack of grounds in Sri Lanka, all the fields in Pakistan are available to host these matches. Bangladesh Cricket Board refused to play in India due to security reasons. The ICC should decide where the Bangladesh matches will be played.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has made it clear in two letters to the International Cricket Council that should its matches be shifted to Sri Lanka, it will never send its team to India.
India and Sri Lanka are the hosts of the ICCT World Twenty20, the ICC has scheduled all Pakistan’s matches in Sri Lanka after Pakistan’s team was rejected earlier. Bangladesh played three matches in Kolkata and one in Mumbai.
After Indian extremists threatened to kill Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman and demanded his removal from the IPL, the Indian Cricket Board has instructed Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shahrukh Khan to drop the Bengali player from his team.
According to Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam Bulbul, they have written and sent their concerns to the ICC in detail, now they are waiting for their response.
