The Pakistan Hockey Federation has appointed Olympian Manzoorul Hasan as the national team manager for the Pro Hockey League and the World Cup.
Head coach Khawaja Junaid will remain on the post and the names of other coaches are also being considered.
The PHF Management Committee contacted Olympians and coaches for national team managers and coaches.
According to reports, there is a possibility that the Olympic player Manzurul Hasan will be the manager of the national team, the management committee has confirmed his presence from Manzurul Hasan.
Olympian Hanif Khan and Olympian Shahnaz Sheikh are also being considered for this position and Khawaja Junid will continue as the head coach.
Olympic goalkeeper Salman Akbar and Adnan Zakir who have been coaching in Europe for years are considered for coaching.
Pakistan hockey team has to play Pro League and World Cup in Europe in coming months.
The national team will travel to Belgium and England in June to play the Pro League in which they will play 2, 2 matches against Spain and Belgium. In August, the World Cup will be held in Holland and Belgium.
