Report: Atiqur Rehman. The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has summoned the players and the team manager, marking a major development in the mistreatment of the national hockey team in Australia.

PHF sources say that today evening senior players including captain Imad Butt, Hanan Shahid have been invited and coach Tahir Zaman, coach Usman and Zeeshan Ashraf have also been invited.

According to PHF sources, the Pakistan Hockey Federation will take a decision after discussing the grievances of the players and management.

Sources said that PHF will organize activities and send the team to Egypt in two days. A week later, the team has to travel to Egypt to play the qualifying round of the World Cup.

Sources reveal that the President of the Federation, Tariq Bugti, will listen to the details of the issues including the management of the team and the accommodation of the players and after hearing the opinions, he will consult his think tank and take action against the culprits.

The sources also reveal that in this meeting the players are questioned about their poor performance and scoring too many goals. Federation President Tariq Bugti and Secretary Rana Mujahid will announce the decisions with a press conference.
