The Bangladesh Cricket Board is awaiting a response after writing a letter to the ICC on the issue of the T20 World Cup not being held in India due to security reasons.

BCB had written a detailed letter to ICC two days ago about the reasons for not playing the matches in India, in the letter all the evidences have been presented in detail that it is impossible to play in India.

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam says that there has been no response from the ICC so far, he has shared all the necessary evidence and documents with the ICC.

He said that we have informed all our problems to the ICC, there has been no change in our position, we have to follow the instructions of the government.

Aminul Islam also said that I cannot comment on what we will do if our matches are not shifted to Sri Lanka.

He said that I have not heard that Hyderabad or Chennai are alternative venues for our matches, I think we will get a response from ICC by Monday or Tuesday.

The BCB chief said that the Bangladesh team is performing well in T20 and the team will play well in these conditions. The team is expected to play three matches in Kolkata and one group match in Mumbai.

On the other hand, BCB sources say that if the venue of the show is not changed by the ICC, the Bangladesh Cricket Board will not accept the decision.

According to BCB sources, BCB is confident that ICC will change the venue of Bangladesh team.

It is worth recalling that under pressure from Indian extremists, the Indian team released fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL. BCB has announced that it will not send the team to India for the T20 World Cup after threats from the Bangladesh team.

The BCB requested the ICC to shift the matches to another venue other than India, on which the ICC had asked the BCB for details of security concerns.
