Officials of the T20 series match between Pakistan and Australia announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the panel of match officials for the three-match T20 International series to be played between Pakistan and Australia at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

The match referee of the ICC International Panel, Ali Naqvi, will perform the duties of the match referee in all three matches. The second match of the series will hold special significance for Ali Naqvi as it will be his 50th T20 International match as a match referee. Ali Naqvi started his T20 career as an umpire in April 2023 at the same ground.

In the first two T20 matches, ICC Elite Panel umpire Ahsan Raza will perform on-field umpire duties. In the first match, ICC Novice Panel Referee Asif Yaqub will be the on-field referee with him, and in the second match, ICC International Panel Referee Rashid Riaz will be the on-field referee.

Rashid Riaz and Nasir Hussain will be the on-field umpires in the third T20 match, while Zulfiqar John, a member of PCB’s National Elite Panel, will be the fourth umpire.

Nasir Huseyn will start as the third referee and will be the fourth referee in the second match. In the second and third matches, Asif Yaqub and Tariq Rashid will be the third judges.

The matches of the series will be played from January 29 to February 1, all the matches will start at 16:00 and the matches will be played at 15:30 and all the matches of the series will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
