Najamul Hussain, head of the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s finance committee, says there will be no financial loss for India not participating in the T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh cricket board finance committee chairman Nejamul Hussain said that the board does not earn anything in the World Cup, so there is no harm in not participating in the T20 World Cup, but the players will suffer because they do not get money in the form of match fee.

He said they are not compensating the players for not participating in the World Cup, they are spending millions of dollars on the players despite their poor performance, we have never asked the players to return the money, how will the players live when there is no scoreboard?

Necemul Hussain said that our income will not be affected until 2027 because this decision was made in 2022 in the ICC Finance Committee, but this may be important in the upcoming World Cup and other international events in the bilateral series.

He said that the important question is whether the teams under FTP will come to us or not.

It is worth recalling that Bangladeshi batsman Mustaqeer Rahman was released from IPL team KKR after threats from Hindu extremists.

After this Bangladesh Cricket decided not to send its team to India for the ICCT World Twenty Cup and requested that the matches be shifted from India.
