Brazilian star footballer Neymar underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery.
In this regard, the country’s Santos team emphasized that Neymar hopes to return to fitness and will try to make his place in the Brazil team for next year’s FIFA World Cup.
In the statement released by Santos, Neymar’s surgery was performed by the Brazilian national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.
It is worth noting that the club has not given a specific time for Neymar’s return, but according to Brazilian media reports, his recovery may take about a month.
The FIFA World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in Canada, Mexico and the United States, and Brazil will face Scotland, Morocco and Haiti in Group C.
