Lahore Region Whites beat Peshawar Region in the first match of the National T20 Cricket Cup.
In the opening match of the tournament played in Peshawar, Lahore Whites defeated Peshawar region by 6 wickets and got their first win.
The Peshawar Region team scored 167 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs while batting first and set 168 runs for Lahore Whites.
The team of Lahore reached its goal in the 17th match by losing 4 wickets, Farhan Yusif played an unbeaten 61 runs and 31 balls.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi shook hands with the players of both the teams at the cricket stadium.
