Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the appointment of former captain Wasim Akram as the brand ambassador of HBL PSL.
Mohsin Naqvi while giving a press conference in Lahore said that Multan Sultan will be auctioned after PSL is over, Multan Sultan will be operated by PCB itself in PSL 11, if Ali Tareen is successful in bidding for the new team he can definitely own the team.
Mohsin Naqvi said that they think to start PSL from March 23 instead of March 26, this decision will be taken with the consultation of all the franchises.
The PCB chairman said that Wasim Ekram will work for the PSL and will be available for the two-team auction on January 8. Now all the attention is focused on the bidding of the two teams on January 8. There has been a lot of interest from all over and I’m sure the team will sell for a good price on auction day.
Mohsin Naqvi said that 10 parties have qualified for the two new PSL teams, and the auction will be held on January 8 in Islamabad.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he has written a letter to the ICC regarding the inappropriate behavior of the Indian players in the U-19 Asia Cup.
