The New Zealand team is tipped as a strong contender for the ICCT World Twenty Cup, with cricket experts believing the Kiwis will lift the trophy this time around.
In this regard, former English cricketer Michael Vaughan declared New Zealand as a strong contender for the T20 World Cup.
Michael Vaughan on social networking site X said that New Zealand can win the T20 World Cup, they have a strong group of players.
New Zealand Cricket team’s series against India is still ongoing, with the Kiwi team winning the ODI series 2-1 against the hosts in India and now the five-match T20 series starts in Nagpur from tomorrow.
Watch out for the ICCT World Twenty20 starting on February 7, where the New Zealand team will play Afghanistan, Canada, South Africa and the UAE in Group D.
New Zealand also announced the squad for the ICCT World Twenty20. Finn Allen, Michael Braswell, Mark Champman, Dion Conway and Jacob Duffy feature in the mega event which starts on February 7 in India and Sri Lanka next month.
Apart from him, other players include Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Adam Milne, Daryl Mitchell, Jamie Nesham, Glenn Phillips, Richan Ravindra, batsman-keeper Tim Seifert and Ash Sodhi.
