The former captain said that Pakistan cricket and Pakistan have gained honor, position and recognition all over the world, I wish that now I can give something back to Pakistan cricket and the country.

He also said that not to enter politics now, the government should complete its constitutional term of 5 years, and allow all the important constitutional positions, including the Chief Justice and the Military Commander, to complete their constitutional term.

Martyr Efrîni revealed that in the past he was offered important positions in the government, but he always avoided such responsibilities, only official positions are not attractive to me.
