On the occasion of the arrival of the world famous football player Lionel Messi to the Salt Lake stadium in the city of Kolkata in India, riots started due to the problems and bad arrangements.

According to Indian media reports, the fans were angered by the confusion and bad arrangements, which resulted in incidents of vandalism in the stadium.

According to reports, Messi was only present at the stadium for a short time, about ten minutes, which greatly upset the fans.

A fan speaking to the media said it was a very bad incident.

According to him, Messi is surrounded by political leaders and ministers, so even ordinary fans cannot see him.

Fans said that Messi did not even play exhibition football when he arrived, but the organizers’ claims of Shahrukh Khan’s arrival were not fulfilled.

Fans expressed deep dismay at the waste of time, money and emotions.

After the incident, the state authorities officially apologized to Lionel Messi and his loved ones and announced that an investigation committee is being formed to investigate the incident.

The committee will be headed by retired Justice Ashim Kumar Roy, along with the Chief Secretary and Additional Secretary (Home and Hill Affairs).

The committee will conduct a detailed investigation on the incident and determine the responsible parties and make recommendations to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

The authorities once again apologized to all the athletes.

Later, the police also used force to disperse the crowd outside the hotel where Lionel Messi was staying.

According to reports, a large number of fans have gathered outside the hotel to catch a glimpse of Messi and this has led to a tense security situation.

Police officials say that minor measures and other measures had to be taken to control the excessive crowd pressure and the law and order situation.

According to the administration, this action was necessary due to security issues.
